Villa Mille Rose, situated on the former Caymas Ranch, which was established in 1835 in Oakville, Napa Valley, is a 60 acre property comprised of vineyards, organic olive orchard, organic fruit orchard, organic vegetable garden, rose gardens and an authentic style Tuscan villa. It was designed by Italian architect Dante Bini. The 360 degree views of vineyards and mountains are a breathtaking experience enhanced by the surrounding sounds of classical Italian music pouring out of every corner of the property.
Maria Manetti Farrow worked very closely with architect Dante Bini to design the villa and landscape to reflect the style of her native region - Tuscany. The Italian style garden has boxwood hedges, a wisteria covered pergola, potted sculptured rosemary, and white and pink oleander intermixed with 100 year old olive trees and tall majestic cypresses. The largest emphasis of the estate is the approximate 500 rose bushes, in a variety of colors that blend with the different shades of green and the pale eggshell stucco of the villa. She enjoys entertaining together with Gioia, her toy poodle, friends from different parts of the world in the fields of classical music, fashion, art and food and wine.
